The Vow
This past weekend the 'good wife' and saw the movie, 'The Vow!'  It is the story of a young married couple who get into a car accident and she is left with memory loss.  Even when she is released from the hospital her memory only goes to when she was in her first years of college.  She does not remember her husband or marriage; yet she remembers old school friends and a former boyfriend she was engaged to.
On the occasion of her sisters coming wedding she returns home to help her sister.  While there both her parents and former boyfriend try to take advantage of her memory loss and again include in their worlds where they would like her to fit.  It is only when her husband finally releases her ......... that eventually she finds her way back to him. I'm convinced there's way TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many partial nudity scenes necessary to get the story line across. For some reason film makers think we can only comprehend something is there is 'skin' involved; just how shallow do they think we've become?!  I wouldn't take my kids or even young teens, or any teens to see this because of that ... and that's a shame.

The main truth that I got from this movie, is in correlation with scripture .........'its not until we lose our lives that find them' [Matthew 10:39] .... and that principal just possibly works on those we love also.
